It is important that only qualified trainers conduct leadership development programmes. They need to have an exceptional command over the subject matter.

“It is beneficial for the employees as well as the organization to have an in-house expert on a specific subject. However, there might be some topics on which an organization would want an industry expert from outside,” says Kapur.

Leadership development programmes are also offered by the leading management training institutes of our country such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), XLRI and NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies).
